The BC Brain Injury Association’s (BCBIA) Annual Cocktail Fundraising Gala takes place on November 14, 2013 from 6pm to 9pm at Vistas 360 at the Renaissance Harbourside Hotel in Vancouver, BC. This year’s theme is Celebrating New Chapters as the BCBIA celebrates a recent merge with the Pacific Coast Brain Injury Conference Society.
Confirmed guest speakers are returning emcees, Michel McDermott and Kyle Donaldson of Breakfast Television , and David Roche, Keynote Speaker and Inspirational Humorist. Woolysock, an evolving group of well-seasoned improvisational musicians and vocalists, will be providing entertainment throughout the evening. You can read more about the program on the website.
By purchasing tickets at $100 per person, you help support BCBIA serve the interests of all affected by acquired brain injury (ABI) in BC. Why is this so important? Because:
· families want immediate access to reliable and trustworthy information on services and resources
· survivors, their families and caregivers want the opportunity to easily ask questions and to network with others who are having similar life experiences
· professionals want to be able to refer families and individuals to a resource that is always available, trustworthy, up to date and reliable
· brain injury is an ever emerging and important social and cultural issue
